EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR KADIFF AUDU KASHIM ISRAEL FELICITATES WITH CHRISTIAN FAITHFUL AT CHRISTMAS The Executive Director Kaduna international film festival Audu Kashim Israel Felicitates with Christians at Christmas 2025. In his message he highlights the significance of Christmas.  The word Christmas means “Christ’s mass” or “mass on Christ’s day.” The term originated from the Middle English Christemasse, which came from the Old English Cristes mæsse. (In Roman Catholicism and certain other Christian groups, a mass is a celebration of the Eucharist.) Christmas is a Christian festival to mark the birth of Jesus Christ. Christmastime, running from Advent (a 4 week time of preparation and waiting) through Epiphany, is a season rich with countless religious and secular traditions that bring together family, faith, and culture while emphasizing themes of hope, joy, generosity, and goodwill.  THE NATIONAL TROUPE OF NIGERIA ENDORSES THE 8TH KADUNA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL The National Troupe of Nigeria an agency of Nigeria's Federal ministry of arts, culture, tourism and creative economy has endorsed the Kaduna international film festival upcoming 8th edition scheduled to hold from 26th to 30th August 2025 with the theme "Film for social change" . KADIFF PARTNERS EL'S EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION TO EMPOWER YOUTHS AT THE 8TH KADIFF Kaduna international film festival has announced a new partnership with El's empowerment foundation to empower 200 youths during the 8th Kaduna international film festival in Skills acquisition.  The Executive Director Kaduna international film festival and Vice chairman Nigerian film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel announced the good news today, He also mentioned that this will be one of the new activities to be included in the festival since it started in 2018.  THE FOUNDER OF KADIFF AUDU KASHIM ISRAEL FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM FAITHFUL AT EID-AL-ADHA The Executive Director Kaduna international film festival and Vice chairman Nigerian film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel felicitates with Muslim faithful around the world on this year's Eid-Al-Adha celebration.  Audu in his message reads - "Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid al-Kabir, is a major Islamic festival commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son Ismail (Ishmael) as an act of obedience to God's command. While Ismail was ultimately replaced by a ram, the story emphasizes themes of submission to divine will, sacrifice, and generosity. The festival is celebrated worldwide by Muslims, with Qurbani (animal sacrifice) and sharing with the less fortunate being central practices".  KADIFF MOURNS MOPPAN NATIONAL PRESIDENT ALHAJI MAIKUDI UMAR  The Founder of Kaduna international film festival and Vice chairman Nigerian film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel has expressed shock over the sad news of the death of Motion pictures practitioners association of Nigeria (MOPPAN) National president Alhaji Maikudi Umar also known as Cashman . "Late Alhaji Maikudi was a humble, loyal and committed man, the few years I have known him he was very supportive of the Kaduna international film festival since it began in 2018. He has served as a panelist, resource person, Zonal coordinator and until his death a member of the 8th Kaduna international film festival board of jurors. Indeed! Ms. Patricia Okwusor North Central coordinators for the 8th Kaduna international film festival and Ibrahim S. Abdul media team 8th Kaduna international film festival. In his message "Audu expressed gratitude for the invitation by the director Korean cultural centre Abuja Kim Chang Ki and the management of KCC. The Korean cultural centre Abuja has played a key role in promoting cultural exchange between Nigeria and Korea over the years most especially in Food, music, film and arts.
