THE DG KADIFF AUDU KASHIM ISRAEL FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS FAITHFUL AT EID-EL-KABIR 


The Executive Director Audu Kashim Israel felicitates with Muslims faithful on this year's Eid Al-Kabir.


Rooted in the Islamic calendar (Zulhijjah), this "Festival of Sacrifice" commemorates Prophet Ibrahim's (Abraham) absolute submission and obedience to Allah's command to sacrifice his son.


As Muslims across the world celebrate Eid Al-Kabir, the Kaduna International Film Festival (KADIFF) extends warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to the Muslim Ummah, filmmakers, creative professionals, partners, and supporters of the festival.


Eid Al-Kabir reminds us of the timeless virtues of faith, sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and humanity as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). It is a season that inspires reflection on our responsibilities to one another, the importance of unity, peaceful coexistence, and the spirit of giving.


At KADIFF, we believe that storytelling through film remains a powerful tool for promoting cultural understanding, social harmony, and positive change within our communities and across Africa. As we celebrate this sacred occasion, we encourage creatives and young talents to continue using their gifts to inspire hope, preserve our heritage, and foster dialogue for a better society. This celebration should teach us tolerance and sacrifice for one another. Let us learn to live with each other in peace irrespective of religion, tribe, colour or race.


I want to use this opportunity to call on the Nigerian government at all levels to have mercy on its citizens, show mercy to help the economic situation and security challenges. Citizens are being kidnapped, Killed and a lot of people are on the street hungry. Sometimes I ask when will this end ?


As we celebrate let us remember and share with the poor, less privileged, orphans, widows and the sick.


May this blessed season bring peace to our nation, prosperity to our communities, renewed strength to the creative industry, and abundant blessings to every home. May Allah (SWT) accept our prayers, sacrifices, and acts of worship, and grant us more years in good health, happiness, and unity.

UBA SANI  The founder of Kaduna international film festival Audu Israel Kashim have personally sent a congratulatory message to the newly sworn in Governor of Kaduna state  Sen. Uba Sani.  The new governor of Kaduna state His Excellency Sen.
