 FOUNDER OF KADIFF AUDU KASHIM ISRAEL FELICITATE WITH MUSLIM FAITHFUL AT EID-EL-FITR 


The founder of Kaduna international film festival Audu Kashim Israel have felicitate with Muslim faithful across the world as the mark the 2022 Eid-el-fitr celebration on Monday the 2nd of May 2022.


  Eid-El-Fitr signifies the end of fasting from dawn to dusk throughout Ramadan and the beginning of the Shawwal month. It is believed that Prophet Muhammad got the first revelation of the Holy Quran during the holy month of Ramadan.  Eid-Ul-Fitr is also a celebration for having a successful month of fasting, praying and refraining from all negative actions, thoughts and words and is a way of paying respect to Allah.


Muslims across the globe celebrate Eid-El-Fitr by taking part in prayers that are followed by a sermon soon after dawn. People wear new clothes, give Zakat or alms to the poor, distribute sweets, and eat a variety of dishes, including Biryani, Haleem, Nihari, kebabs and Seviyan. Additionally, children receive gifts and money from elders, which are called Eidi.


As Muslims faithful celebrate this year's Eid-El-Fitr celebration I urge us to be tolerant with one another, show love, follow the good teachings of the holy month, pray for peace in Nigeria most especially Kaduna state and the coming elections in 2023, avoid evil, violence, malice, gossip and hatred.  


I hope to welcome and receive you all in Kaduna state come August for the 5th Kaduna international film festival.

The Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise (iDICE) programme is geared to provide strategic, technical, and operational support to the PCU and fund advisory board of the $617.7m iDICE program. VICTOR OKHAI HEAD, BOARD OF JURORS  The founder of Kaduna international film festival and Vice Chairman Nigeria film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel have reappointed Dr. Victor Okhai as head board of Jurors for the 7th edition of the festival. Dr. Okhai who headed the board of jurors for the 6th edition last year was committed to discharging his duties in fairness.
