THE FOUNDER OF KADIFF AUDU KASHIM ISRAEL FELICITATES WITH CHRISTIANS AT EASTER 


Easter, also called Pascha (Aramaic, Greek, Latin) or Resurrection Sunday is a Christian holiday that celebrates the belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the New Testament of the Bible, the event is said to have occurred three days after Jesus was crucified by the Romans and died in roughly A.D. 30. The holiday concludes the “Passion of Christ,” a series of events and holidays that begins with Lent a 40-day period of fasting, prayer and sacrifice and ends with Holy Week, which includes Holy Thursday (the celebration of Jesus’ Last Supper with his 12 Apostles, also known as “Maundy Thursday”), Good Friday (on which Jesus’ crucifixion is observed) and Easter Sunday. 


The Easter Sunday was a totally reversal of the image of Good Friday. His death which seemed to be a defeat before the world is now shown as a triumph, a victory over death. Through Jesus' death on the Cross, we have been granted a second chance. We have permission to leave our old lives behind and focus on the new day, with all its potential for joy and choices that honor God. 


Christians and non-Christians let us reflect and follow the lessons of Easter which are commitment to love, Sacrifice for one another, truth, justice, humility, mercy, compassion, purity, peace, forgiveness and non-violence. Wherever we find ourselves at work, places of worship, public, school, home and our environment. 


As creatives and role models or public figures with a fraternal heart may we also reflect the teachings of Easter, may people see the light of God in us with compassion. 


As we celebrate let's remember the less privileged, those in prison and orphans.

 THE FOUNDER OF KADIFF AUDU KASHIM ISRAEL CONGRATULATES RAHAMA SADAU ON NEW APPOINTMENT  The founder of Kaduna international film festival and Vice chairman Nigerian film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel has congratulated Rahama Sadau an actress who features on both Nollywood and Kannywood movies on her appointment to serve on the technical committee of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise (iDICE) programme. The Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise (iDICE) programme is geared to provide strategic, technical, and operational support to the PCU and fund advisory board of the $617.7m iDICE program. The iDICE program is a collaborative effort between the government and international partners including the bank of industry, African development bank, French development agency and Islamic development bank.  THE FOUNDER OF KADIFF AUDU KASHIM ISRAEL REAPPOINTS DR. VICTOR OKHAI HEAD, BOARD OF JURORS  The founder of Kaduna international film festival and Vice Chairman Nigeria film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel have reappointed Dr. Victor Okhai as head board of Jurors for the 7th edition of the festival. Dr. Okhai who headed the board of jurors for the 6th edition last year was committed to discharging his duties in fairness.
