 THE FOUNDER OF KADIFF AUDU KASHIM ISRAEL REAPPOINTS DR. VICTOR OKHAI HEAD, BOARD OF JURORS 

The founder of Kaduna international film festival and Vice Chairman Nigeria film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel have reappointed Dr. Victor Okhai as head board of Jurors for the 7th edition of the festival.

Dr. Okhai who headed the board of jurors for the 6th edition last year was committed to discharging his duties in fairness. In his statement Audu said he has confidence in him and that is why the festival has decided to reappoint him. 

Dr. Victor Okhai is the current president Directors guild of Nigeria DGN and founder of the Inshort international film festival. 

Other members to serve on the board are;

* Dr. Charles Okwuowulu DGN - (Nigeria)

* Dr. Ekaette Brian Edem - (Nigeria)

* Azza Elhosseiny - (Egypt)

* Anna Deluche - (France)

* Dr. Chiemela Ogbonna (Nigeria)

* Prof. Femi Shaka (Nigeria) 

* Ayodele Adesanya (Nigeria)

The 9-member board of Jurors from Nigeria, Egypt, India and France have distinguished themselves in the film industry and have contributed to the growth and development of the creative industry around the world. We are proud of their achievements. 

Audu urged them to be fair and just as they carry out this great task ahead. He also assured the public that the festival will continue to be credible in its selection and nomination process. "This is to also announce that for the first time there will be a "viewers choice" award category during this year's festival" Audu said. 

The festival is scheduled to hold from 27th - 31st August 2024 with the theme "Cinema and Cultural exchange".
