The founder of Kaduna International Film Festival KADIFF Audu Israel Kashim have felicitate with Muslim faithful around the world on this year's Eid-Ul-fitr celebration.  

Audu have explained that Eid ul fitr is the ‘Feast of Breaking the Fast’. Eid ul Fitr is the first of the two official holidays in Islam. Falling on the first day of the Islamic calendar’s month of Shawwal, Eid ul Fitr is a festival organized with massive feasts all around the world to celebrate the gifts and blessings of Allah. Eid ul Fitr 2023 will begin on the evening of 20th April 2023 and end on the evening 21st April 2023.

Eid ul Fitr symbolizes virtues like patience, piety, godliness and fortitude. It is a day of celebration as those who observe the fast during Ramadan receive the rewards of rigorous spiritual discipline and month-long worship. On this holy day, Muslims also show their gratitude to Allah for opening the doors of forgiveness and mercy through the sacred month of Ramadan. In addition to being a time for reflection, fresh beginnings and rejoicing with loved ones, bringing peace, smile, love and joy to those around us, Eid ul Fitr is also a reminder to be kind to those who are less fortunate. The day reminds Muslims to embrace people from social and economic circles and share the joy of festivities with the underprivileged, the poor and the neglected. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself used to make sure that all the needy, the downtrodden and widows were able to share the joys of Eid ul Fitr. The day is when all Muslims should count their blessings and help those who are in need of it.

I urge us to be ambassadors of peace as we celebrate. May Allah answer our prayers and heart desires.

A reminder that ahead of this year's 6th Kaduna International Film festival in August we will hosting the first series of Northern Film Summit scheduled to take place in Kano state Nigeria from 21st to 22nd June 2023 please make plans to attend. 

As Muslims around the world celebrate El-Ul-Fitr this year I wish everyone a beautiful and happy celebration.

 THE FOUNDER OF KADIFF AUDU KASHIM ISRAEL CONGRATULATES RAHAMA SADAU ON NEW APPOINTMENT  The founder of Kaduna international film festival and Vice chairman Nigerian film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel has congratulated Rahama Sadau an actress who features on both Nollywood and Kannywood movies on her appointment to serve on the technical committee of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise (iDICE) programme. The Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise (iDICE) programme is geared to provide strategic, technical, and operational support to the PCU and fund advisory board of the $617.7m iDICE program. The iDICE program is a collaborative effort between the government and international partners including the bank of industry, African development bank, French development agency and Islamic development bank. VICTOR OKHAI HEAD, BOARD OF JURORS  The founder of Kaduna international film festival and Vice Chairman Nigeria film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel have reappointed Dr. Victor Okhai as head board of Jurors for the 7th edition of the festival. Dr. Okhai who headed the board of jurors for the 6th edition last year was committed to discharging his duties in fairness.
