 FOUNDER OF KADIFF FELICITATE WITH CHRISTIAN FAITHFUL AT EASTER  


The founder of Kaduna International Film festival Audu Israel Kashim have felicitate with Christian faithful at Easter. 


Audu explained that Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixion (Good Friday). Easter is the fulfilled prophecy of the Messiah who would be persecuted, die for our sins, and rise on the third day (Isaiah 53). Remembering the resurrection of Jesus is a way to renew daily hope that we have victory over sin. This year's Easter falls on 9th April 2023 unlike Christmas the date changes each year.


Easter follows a period of fasting called Lent, in which many churches set aside time for repentance and remembrance. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday and ends on Good Friday, the day of Jesus' crucifixion. The 40 day period was established by Pope Gregory 1 using the 40-day pattern of Israel, Moses, Elijah, and Jesus' time in the wilderness.


Easter teaches us to always do good, Not to betray those around us or those who trust us. It also teaches us love, forgiveness, humility and service. As we celebrate this year's Easter let us show love to the abandoned and those around us who need our attention. Let people see the risen Christ in us who has brought light to the world especially in this post election season. 


As Creatives and public figures let us continue to be role models to our society and emulate the lessons of why we celebrate Easter.

 THE FOUNDER OF KADIFF AUDU KASHIM ISRAEL CONGRATULATES RAHAMA SADAU ON NEW APPOINTMENT  The founder of Kaduna international film festival and Vice chairman Nigerian film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel has congratulated Rahama Sadau an actress who features on both Nollywood and Kannywood movies on her appointment to serve on the technical committee of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise (iDICE) programme. The Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise (iDICE) programme is geared to provide strategic, technical, and operational support to the PCU and fund advisory board of the $617.7m iDICE program. The iDICE program is a collaborative effort between the government and international partners including the bank of industry, African development bank, French development agency and Islamic development bank. VICTOR OKHAI HEAD, BOARD OF JURORS  The founder of Kaduna international film festival and Vice Chairman Nigeria film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel have reappointed Dr. Victor Okhai as head board of Jurors for the 7th edition of the festival. Dr. Okhai who headed the board of jurors for the 6th edition last year was committed to discharging his duties in fairness.
