THE FOUNDER OF KADIFF MOURNS A VETERAN ACTOR SAM OBIAGO 


The founder of Kaduna international film festival Israel Kashim Audu have expressed shock over the death of a veteran actor Sam Obiago 


Daddy Sam was an actor, filmmaker and the chairman of Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria (SWGN), He has featured in the following Nollywood movies, Gifted, Tears Of A King, Woman Of Fire, Ghana Island, Royal Turning Point, Royal Appointment, Bargain, Combined Forces, Altar Of Love, Wishes, Ancient Love, Drunk Princess, The Missing Blood, Obed And Ruth, The Visitor, Osinachi, One Night Stand, Throne Of Fire, Ancient Key, Wicked Tradition, Tortured Heart, Royal Wreck, The King’s Decision, Blood Brothers, The Orbit, Strength Of Womanhood, Battle Of Kings, Royal Headache, Another Life, Game Of War, Jacob’s House, My Decision, Village Runs, Magic Dragon, The Love of Father and Daughter, A Poison to the Heart and Grievous Oath, among others. Won awards to his credit.


"Igwe as I always call him was supposed to be in Kaduna for the fourth Kaduna international film festival in August this year but two days to his arrival he was rushed to the hospital in Asaba I couldn't reach him not until when his personal assistant called to inform me of the situation. Since then the sickness have been on and off but I continued to assured him of my prayers, whenever I call his words are usually "am getting better please pray for me" He was a man of humility, dedicated and committed to his work. Always ready to help and support. I will miss you indeed Igwe" Audu said. 


May God console the family he has left behind and grant him eternal rest. Until we meet again.

 THE FOUNDER OF KADIFF AUDU KASHIM ISRAEL CONGRATULATES RAHAMA SADAU ON NEW APPOINTMENT  The founder of Kaduna international film festival and Vice chairman Nigerian film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel has congratulated Rahama Sadau an actress who features on both Nollywood and Kannywood movies on her appointment to serve on the technical committee of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise (iDICE) programme. The Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise (iDICE) programme is geared to provide strategic, technical, and operational support to the PCU and fund advisory board of the $617.7m iDICE program. The iDICE program is a collaborative effort between the government and international partners including the bank of industry, African development bank, French development agency and Islamic development bank. VICTOR OKHAI HEAD, BOARD OF JURORS  The founder of Kaduna international film festival and Vice Chairman Nigeria film festivals Association Audu Kashim Israel have reappointed Dr. Victor Okhai as head board of Jurors for the 7th edition of the festival. Dr. Okhai who headed the board of jurors for the 6th edition last year was committed to discharging his duties in fairness.
